Spot Checks

SJ Police Conduct Spot Checks to Deter Crime

These girls got sound advise from Chief Inspector Sulaiman Baputty after he found six youths packed in the vehicle

SUBANG Jaya police are conducting spot checks in the SS15 commercial area to deter any untoward incidences in the area.

SS17 police Chief Inspector Sulaiman Baputty said police personnel from the station had intensified their patrols in the area to deter crime.

"We conduct spot checks in places where we feel there is a high occurence of crime."

"Tonight we are here in front of the banks to deter snatch thieves and also to check on vehicles passing through," he said during the operations led by him.

Sulaiman said police presence would help the public feel safer especially when they had to frequent the area to carry out their banking.

During the spot check, vehicles were stopped randomly by the police.

Some motorists got ticked off by Sulaiman for overloading, using their handphones while driving, driving around without their safety belt on and interestingly, one male motorists was told off by Sulaiman for driving around without his shirt on.
