Two Week Ops to Remove Illegal Banners

FED up and concerned with the rampant mushrooming of Ah Long ads in the municipality, a joint two week ops by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council and the Subang Jaya Police is now in progress to remove all they can find in public areas.

Involving eight police stations in the district, MPSJ officers joint by police officers will be making daily rounds in their respective zones to tear down and remove all illegal erected or pasted advertisements.

According to MPSJ enforcement chief Mohd Zulkurnian Che Ali, four enforcement officers from MPSJ would combine efforts with the police at each station to remove such paraphernalia.

"Our first joint effort on Saturday saw 4,431 banners and buntings removed," he said.

More updates to come on what else is being done by this team.
