Sabotage!
MPSJ-JAIS raid on pub foiled by secret passage

JAIS officers taking down particulars of Muslims they nabbed during a raid on a local pub in Sunway.
SABOTAGE!
That was what it was when a raiding team from the Subang Jaya Municipal Council and the Selangor Religious Department (JAIS) found a secret passage at a local pub in Sunway which allowed many Muslims to escape from the law last weekend.
It was council president Dato' Adnan Md Ikshan who noticed something amiss when he saw a long line of people heading towards the toilets at the pub.
He followed and what he saw made him blow his top.
"There it was a secret door in the toilet which served as an escape route for the pub's patrons to escape our raid."
"Many escaped our raid, especially Muslims and underaged patrons. I am irked by the management of the pub who have tried to allow their patrons to escape the law," he told reporters after ordering the door to be sealed off.

Adnan looking at the trail of footprints on the floor just outside the escape door.
By then many had escaped and a trail of footprints leading to the elevator located just beyond the escape door was all that was left of the people who fled.
The mischievious act earned the wrath of both the authorities.
The pub was ordered closed, remaining patrons were asked to leave and finally the whole place was sealed by MPSJ.
Twenty one underaged patrons were booked, two Muslims were caught drinking, five Muslims were booked for being indecently dressed and eight of the pub's workers who were Muslims were detained.
"It is serious. The management of the pub should have been cooperative instead of sabotaging our work."
"I will be making my recommendations to have their licence revoked," Adnan said.
