Keep Dengue at Bay
Residents reminded to continue spending 10 minutes a weekend to check their homes for dengue breeding spots
DESPITE experiencing a respite from the threat of dengue for several weeks now, residents should not become complacent, says MPSJ president Dato’ Adnan Md Ikshan.
He said house owners should continue to spend 10 minutes during weekends to check on their homes to ensure no mosquitoes were breeding anywhere.
“There have been no hotspots for dengue in the Municipality over the past few weeks. But this doesn’t mean we should be careless,” he said during a spot check on fogging activities carried out by council staff in SS18 recently.
