Turn Up the Heat @ Salsa Party

Oasis Boulevard pulsating with rhythm of Salsa

IF you have never seen or felt the pulsating beat of a Salsa party, then your heart would have skipped a few beats watching the dancers fire up the dance floor at the Oasis Boulevard.

In conjunction with the 3rd Malaysian World Salsa Congress happening until this Sunday, Sunway Pyramid's alfresco dining, Oasis Boulevard was Salsa all day long.

The fever first hit Sunway Pyramid at the Orange Entrance ground floor in the evening where shoppers had a bask in the Roving Busters Parade and enjoyed an endless night of Salsa performances and workshop.

The highlight of the night was the international performances of Imagen Latina of Venezuela and Sambalicious of Australia.

the six-member group of Imegen Latina have taken the Salsa world by storm. They have performed in all the Salsa congresses all over Europe, America and Latin America and are well-known for their amazing and original choreography and routines.

First time in Asia, they have won first place in various salsa dance championships in Venezuela.

The crowd who turned up were jiving with the tunes belted out. Some of them were even daring enough to jump on the dance floor, learn from the salsa dance instructor and straight away jive in front of everyone.
