Gambling Dens in Puchong Raided. Two arrested

THE police raiding team from the Subang Jaya Police District left nothing behind when they raided four illegal online gambling dens in Pusat Bandar Puchong on Monday night.
Led by Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Zainal Rashid Abu Bakar, the team carted away 71 units of computers and other items, sending a clear message that the authorities are not condoning any such activities in the district.
"As of last night, we have raided 126 premises since January this year and made 133 arrests," he said.
Zainal said 1,611 computers were seized during the same period.
"The outlets were raided and items confiscated under Section 4B(a) Common Gaming House Act 1953. We will continue to carry out raids on illegals operations in the district from time to time," he added.
The four premises raided were identified by the police from surveillance work and also information from the public.
