LOUD thunderous music, long queues of cars parked by the road shoulders and the chatter of people having fun.
These were some of the sounds and sights which greeted residents who showed up for the inaugural USJ Residents Association Family Day at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council grounds.
Those who showed up in the wee hours of the morning obviously sacrificed their usual Sunday morning sleep in to join in the fun and games lined up for them.

There were activities for the whole family – futsal, basketball, play float, blood glucose check, body fat check and lots of goodies to enjoy. There were even demonstrations of Qi Gong and Line Dancing at the festival.
The whole day affair saw at least 5,000 residents enjoying themselves with the VIPs who showed up.
Spotted trying her “foot” at futsal was Kinrara State Assemblyman Teresa Kok. ADUN Subang Jaya Hannah Yeoh on the other hand had a few tries of scoring at the basketball court with the participants.
USJRA vice president Melvin Lee said the response for the family day was good, coupled with very good weather throughout the morning.
