“Sea Ya” at Sunway Pyramid

Extraordinary school holiday programme for kids

Sunway Pyramid launched its March School Holiday program, “Sea Ya”, by entertaining 12 lucky children from Rumah Kids, Klang with a Hula Dance performance, Artsy Crafts and a visit by a Clown Fish who sculpted balloons for the children.

The children came alive when they were invited to participate in the mural painting activity; each was filled with glee as they chose the colors for the underwater scene mural. The activity, which is a part of the mall’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) initiative, was to teach the children about the underwater world of marine diversity. They were joined by the mall’s staff as well as children of shoppers in coloring the mural.

The mural was on display as part of Sunway Pyramid’s “Sea Ya” decorations at the LG1 Pyramid Concourse together with a 50 feet octopus made out of 3,000 balloons as well as live seawater fishes in aquariums.

Children also participated in other activities such as The Lost Mermaid – a human statue that shoppers can take a picture with, Artsy Sea shells to bring home, Fish Face Painting and Clown Fish balloon fish sculptures.

Children could also catch Hula Dance performances and Scuba Leo snorkeling about the mall, giving away vouchers to shoppers who can exchange it for a free bookmark and fridge magnet featuring cute sea creatures.
