"FOUR DOORS TO HEAVEN" IN SS15 DISCOVERED

NOW YOU SEE IT......MPSJ officers inspecting the "rack" filled with pornographic DVDs.

NOW YOU DON'T......MPSJ officers discover a hidden compartment behind the shelf they inspected earlier.
TWO customers, one in his 50s and another in his 30s were enjoying a movie in a private room, relaxing on the couch and having a smoke at the same time.
This appears to be a typical scene many would be familiar with in their private movie room at home.
But this special room that the duo enjoyed had four doors to pass through before they could get their entertainment fix.
MPSJ officers on their daily rounds chanced upon a licensed DVD outlet in SS15 when they made a surprise check on the stock. The first door they opened at the back of the shop lot revealed stacks of pornographic material.
Curious about where another unopened door led to, the officers asked the operators for the keys but only got a reply "kita tidak ada kunci. Boss pegang" (we do not have the keys. The boss has it).
Smelling something fishy, the officers picked the lock which led them to another door which they subsequently broke down.
What awaited the officers surprised even those who are seasoned in enforcement work.
The man in his 30s was lazing on a couch in this private room. He was smoking and looking innocently at the officers. Upon entering, the officers found another door which led them to the "heavenly room".
The man in his 50s was busy entertaining his sights and senses on a pornographic video playing on a tv in this small room. Stacked behind him on the shelf were at least 50 titles of similar material.
While the men were ushered out, enforcement officers quickly made a check but they were in for another surprise.
Stashed very cleverly behind the shelf, an officer found a hidden compartment. Opening it revealed boxes of DVDs, suspected to be pirated DVDs and also pornographic material.
MPSJ enforcement director Mohd Zulkurnain B. Che Ali who led the raid said the council would seize all the pornographic materials and issue a compound.
"We will also make recommendations to have the license revoked for violating the provisions of their business," he said.
