Injunction Overruled -Pedestrian Bridge over Persiaran Kewajipan to be Removed

The long wait is over!

The court injunction by the pedestrian bridge concessionaire over Persiaran Kewajipan has been overruled by the Federal Court.

The decision paves the way for the removal of the pedestrian bridge which has obstructed the smooth completion of the Kelana-Subang Link by the link's main contractor Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (AZRB).

Work to remove the bridge is expected to take a week from tomorrow (Feb 15).

According to sources, work on the Kelana-Subang link is expected to resume after the bridge is removed.

The bridge is 95% complete with the remaining works left near the 3C Complex where the bridge is.

Workers were seen earlier removing part of the roof tiles today (Feb 14).

The RM315mil link started in 2005 and was expected to have been completed late last year.

Ever since the delay, traffic congestion along the stretch became a daily chore motorists had to deal with when using Persiaran Kewajipan.
