Subang Parade Raises RM13,000 for CWS

MANY
residents of Subang Jaya who patronised Subang Parade’s Hari Raya
Charity Corner in September have helped raised crucial funds for the
Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia.
“A
sum of RM13,000 was raised from the event which had booths selling
Hari Raya goodies, ketupat, lemang and serunding,” Subang Parade
shopping centre manager Chay Siew Mun said.
Chay
later presented a mock-cheque to CWS directors Dr Chong Su-Lin and
Lim Ai Mee in a simple ceremony.
Dr
Chong thanked the management of the shopping centre for their efforts
in raising the funds which would be used to fulfill the wishes of
children stricken with terminal illnesses.
