Fun and Games at USJ11/3 Get Together

RESIDENTS of USJ11/3 got together recently to enjoy some good fun and food at a simple, yet eventful get-to-know-you party.

The early morning event which attracted more than 200 people was filled with loads of games and lucky draws for residents who showed up.

The organisers got everyone all participating in a short walk around the neighbourhood before adjourning to a wide spread of nasi lemak, cakes and lots of other goodies for breakfast.

Some participants were drenched when they missed catching a water balloon. Children had a good round of musical chairs.

But most importantly was the comradeship formed from the morning event which saw residents getting to know one another.

Residents who participated in the event are those who had recently supported and signed up for the guarded community in USJ11, an initiative to curb rising crime in the vicinity.

Several residents stood up to share their experiences of losing their cars, being mugged and robbed on the street and in their homes, prior to having the guarded system with guards patrolling their streets.
