Subang Parade is tagging along the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival for the first time this year, and is looking forward to welcoming diners and showcasing a creative and delectable menu from International chefs to the centre. Join Subang Parade from 31st October to 2nd November at the West End Concourse as they bring to life the wonderful world of FOOD!
Built on last two years’ successful International Bazaars with organisers, Trinkets Trail, this year’s affair expects to be larger and more exciting.
“Up to 20% of proceeds from each vendor at the bazaar will go to charitable organizations,” explained Mr. Chay Siew Mun, Subang Parade’s Centre Manager “As well as a 100% charity corner selling a unique Chinese dish to help generate more income for charity”.
“This is another innovative community action campaign of the Hektar Group. This is a great opportunity for all fellow Malaysians and our guests to experience a very different sort of bazaar, where diverse cultures come together under one roof”, said Mr. Anthony Dylan, General Manager – Asset Management.
A promising response from previous years’ participating nations, many including South Korea, Japan, Fiji, Kazakhstan, China, Peru, Indonesia, Turkey, Italy, Iran, France, Nepal, Kyrgyz Republic, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Norway, Czech Republic, Myanmar, Senegal, Swaziland, Vietnam, India and our country, Malaysia have expressed their interest in this year’s festival. Over 20 countries from 5 continents have confirmed their participation for the 3-day event.
Another added initiative the event will be taking is to utilize recycled packaging materials. The food will be placed in banana leaves before places in the handmade packaging materials made from used magazines.
