A Journey to Shanghai

Authentic Dishes at Your Doorstep in SS18

Connoisseurs of authentic Shanghainese food no longer have to travel thousands of kilometres to enjoy the cuisine.

Right at our doorstep in Subang Jaya, BnY Restaurant, a truly Shanghainese dining “getaway” recently opened its doors, making it the 1st such restaurant offering Oriental food hunters a bounty.

According to its manager and partner, Cao Lin, the restaurant offers more than 100 varieties of Shanghainese cuisine.

Our chef is Shanghainese and he brings with him years of experience preparing these cuisine from home.”

Dishes are prepared with very little oil, less salt and no MSG to ensure our diners get healthy meals,” she said.

Among the wide varieties available, house specialties include the unique Claypot Yee Mein Ching, Drunken Steam Prawns, Special Baked fish and Ma Lat Tau Foo – tastes and flavour not easily found elsewhere.

Whether lunch or dinner, the restaurant brings diners through a journey of wonderful tastes and delights.

The set lunches and dinners for 3 to 4 persons or 6 to 8 persons is really a value for money package.

For RM88/-, 6 to 8 people can enjoy seven dishes. What do you get to enjoy? One of the sets offers tilapia and spring onions in BnY sauce; salted pork in steamed egg; minced pork with brinjal; sauteed chicken with dried tau foo; vegetables with “Mein Ching”; pork ribs in tomato sauce and celery with dried shrimps.

Of course, for those who wish to have an extraordinary journey, there's the boutique dining experience that BnY offers.

We also cater for groups who wish to savor boutique Shanghainese dishes. Pre-booking is necessary as the dishes requires several hours of preparation and cooking.”

We suggest at least 8 persons to fully enjoy this special dining experience which we can cater according to their budgets,” she said.

For this August, diners who pop in will enjoy a special offer – Free, 1 complimentary vegetable dish of your choice for every 4 ala carte dishes ordered.

The restaurant opens daily from 11am-3pm and 5.30pm-10pm. They are closed on Wednesdays.

BnY Restaurant is located at No. 29, Jalan SS 18/1B, Subang Jaya or call 03-56389623.
