RM10,000 Donation Top Up for CWS

ADUN Subang Jaya pledges Ringgit for Ringgit donation
YES! ADUN Subang Jaya Hannah Yeoh has pledged to donate RM1 for every RM1 raised during the “We Ate for Charity” event on August 10.
The pledge, which is up to a maximum of RM10,000 was made several weeks ago when Hannah got to know about the event.
More than two tonnes of durian and one tonne of mangosteens and rambutans will be available to the public for a minimum donation of RM10 each. Only children below the age of 2 will enter free.
The funds pledged by Hannah is from her annual allocation from the State Government for community activities.
The Children's Wish Society of Malaysia is a national charity organisation initiated and based in Subang Jaya.
Hannah will be launching the charity event at Subang Parade this coming Sunday, August 10 at 1pm. She will also lead VIPs at the event to launch and subsequently participate in a VIP durian eating contest.
The contest which is also open to the public will involve eating a whole durian, without using hands.
Attractive prizes like a family overnight stay in Tiara Beach Resort in Port Dickson, hampers from Cocoaland, dining vouchers at Holiday Villa Hotel & Suites Subang and Faber Castell will be up for grabs in the contest.
Come join in this charity event, which is touted to be the biggest ever in Subang Jaya and help the society raise funds to fulfill wishes of children stricken with terminal diseases.
