Biggest Party in Subang Jaya

Australian Bee Gees serenades the crowd into the New Year at Grand Dorsett Subang
THE Saturday Night Fever was felt all across the Grand Dorsett Subang Ballroom last weekend as the crowd of 700 guests jived to the Australian Bee Gees on New Year’s Eve.
Michael Clift (Barry), David Scott (Robin) and Wayne Hosking (Maurice) who have a striking resemblance to the original Bee Gees wowed the crowd as they belted out favourites like To Love Somebody, Massachusetts, Words, Lonely Days, Run to Me as well as the huge hits of How Deep is Your Love, Stayin’ Alive and Night Fever.
Guests, many of whom were in their best fancy clothes, sang along through the evening as the hand of the clock neared 12am when the whole ballroom erupted into cheers of “Happy New Year”.
The charity gala dinner was organised in conjunction with the National Heart Institute (Institut Jantung Negara) and part of the proceeds were presented to them to help them in their efforts to assist improving the healthcare of cardiovascular patients.
Billed as the world’s leading Bee Gees Tribute show, the trio has being selling out shows since their inception in 1997.
A sumptuous six-course Western dinner was served while guests stood a chance to win two lucky grand draw flight tickets courtesy of MAS Enrich. One lucky winner will receive a return economy class ticket to London and the other a return economy class ticket to Hong Kong as part of the evening’s festivities. As part of the prize for the Hong Kong winner, Kosmopolito Hotel Hong Kong will offer two nights of luxury in the hotel.
Hotel general manager Leo Kuscher described the evening as a night which brought Las Vegas to Subang Jaya.
