Reminiscing "Raya Memories"

Sunway Pyramid brings shoppers back to the good old kampung days for Raya
SHOPPERS at Sunway Pyramid got taken back in time with the shopping mall’s ‘balik kampung’ in the 1960s “Raya Memories”.
The stage at the Lower Ground Concourse features an adopted KTM train with real railways tracks, to illustrate how back in those days people used to balik kampung for Hari Raya in buses and trains.
The children and old folks from Masjid Al-Husna as well as children from SRK Bandar Sunway were treated to traditional games laid out for them such as congkak, dam aji, ketinting and batu seremban during the launch.
The children were also seen riding on the train with Deputy Chairman of Sunway Group Datuk Razman Hashim, Chief Executive Officer of Sunway Pyramid HC Chan, and General Manager of KTMB Intercity Services Mohd Zain Mat Taha.
They were also treated with singing performances, before receiving a goodie bag and a raya packet each, and then breaking fast at Ayam Penyet Ria.
