Putra Heights Buddhist devotees get a spanking new home

THE dream of finally having a place to call their own came true recently for Buddhist devotees with the launch of the new Putra Heights Buddhist Society in their neighbourhood.
Buoyed by the warm and enthusiastic reception by Putra Heights residents, where the membership tripled overnight, PHBS was inspired to look for a shop lot premise in Putra Point to better live up to the tagline “Your Neighbourhood Buddhist Fellowship”.
With the new place up and running, the PHBS Sunday Dhamma School will be the focal point of activities for devotees.
Dedicated volunteers will also be recruited to contribute their expertise and experience to craft the appropriate curriculum and teaching methodology to inculcate holistic Buddhist values to the young.
The new PHBS centre is located at No 11-1, Jalan Putra Mahkota 7/8c, Putra Point Town Centre, Putra Heights, 47650 UEP Subang Jaya, Selangor.
Contributions in kind or cash (cheque issued to “Putra Heights Buddhist Society” bank-in to Public Bank Acc No. 3161987208) can still be made.
