Orphans & Single Mothers Feted at Mydin-Nestle Buka Puasa

TAKE A SIP....Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Senator Dato' Dr Mashita Ibrahim helping four-year-old Halimatul Sa'adiah from Rumah Teratak Nur Barakah, Section 24 Shah Alam with a drink just right after breaking fast at Mydin USJ1 yesterday (Aug 28). Little Halimatul is one of 280 guests from 11 orphanages as well as single mothers who were invited to break fast at the hypermarket. Earlier, 5,000 packs of Bubur Lambuk were distributed to the public. The children were also given duit raya in the form of shopping vouchers from Mydin to allow them to buy new Hari Raya clothings and necessities to share in the joy of the festive season.
