4. Please do enlighten us on the extent to which your parking bays are lit and if there are areas which need lighting up very soon.
The current car parks are adequately lit up. However as part of the essential components of the mall, the car park upgrading is being planned to improve the existing ambience with a fresh coat of paint, thematic car parks sections and levels and reconfiguration of lighting points.
5. Many residents complain of poor ventilation in basement car parks. Is anything being done to correct the poor flow of air which results in people feeling like they are walking in a sauna when they step out of their car?
The ventilation in the basement areas are adequate with fresh air intake and exhaust fans. Plans are in the pipeline to upgrade the ventilation. Engineers and architects have been engaged to propose the upgrade by the year end.
6. There are parking facilities in hypermarkets which are outdoor and extend quite a distance from the main building. Are measures being taken to ensure shoppers are safe when they walk to and from the building?
Our surface car parks are located within the mall’s vicinity with the furthest distance from the mall entrance at no more than 20 metres.
