MPSJ Raids Bar Celona....AGAIN!

Entertainment outlet in Sunway faces full wrath of MPSJ president

DESPITE numerous warnings, reminders and even being sealed by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council, the management of Bar Celona continued to admit under aged youth and Muslims.
And for their “persistence”, they earned another order to be sealed indefinitely by MPSJ president Dato’ Adnan Md Ikshan last month after more than 50 Muslims and 11 under aged youths were found in the entertainment centre at 2am.
Conducted with Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor, MPSJ rounded up all the Muslims, booked two Muslim men for drinking alcohol while the rest were summoned for being in a place that served alcohol.
Several 17 year olds about to sit for their SPM were found partying in the place by Adnan who advised them to not frequent such places until they were past 18.
“We will seal the premises under Section 11 of the Entertainment Enactment and they will not be allowed to operate until we decide what further action is to be taken,” he said.
