Loh Seng Kok Snubs Wong Chen's Invite to a Debate
BANDAR SUNWAY, APRIL 18 2013: "I don't have to dance and sing according to his tune. He doesn't need to use me to attract crowds to introduce himself," Kelana Jaya Parliament BN candidate Loh Seng Kok said in response to a challenge by PKR's Wong Chen to a debate on April 25 in Subang Jaya.
Loh said Wong should introduce himself to the people if he is contesting.
"BN agenda under the leadership of Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak is very clear and precise, and pragmatic for the development and betterment of the nation."
"We will beef up our campaign in DUN Seri Setia and DUN Subang Jaya right after nomination day," Loh said.
He said he would go to the people to share the BN's agenda.
Earlier in the day, Wong Chen had called for a press conference and informed the media that he had sent an invitation letter to Loh on April 17 to debate on community and national issues faced by Kelana Jaya residents.
"The letter was hand delivered and received by Loh's office on the same day. This morning I have been informed by sources that Loh will not be attending the debate."
"However until I get an official written reply from him, I still harbor the hope that he will attend the debate as I believe that the Kelana Jaya community will want to know about his and about my policies and political positions on important issues of the nation," Wong Chen added.
